In 1911, the Bucklov brothers financed the construction of a building for their activities. The project was presented to Eng. Gero Gerov, who created an impressive two-storey building - the house of the Bucklov brothers.

On the ground floor there were shops selling various goods, and on the first floor there was a Popular Credit and Commercial Bank, which was established by the brothers to support the business of their partners.

The Buklovi family comes from Veliko Tarnovo, but the brothers Dimitar and Hristo Buklovi chose Ruse as a prosperous city to establish their activities. Initially engaged in the trade of leather goods and articles, and with the accession of the third brother - Peter, they became representatives of famous brands of sewing machines and bicycles. Their business is booming and they are opening a store on Alexandrovska Street, which is gaining huge popularity. They opened branches of their company in Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv and became one of the pillars of the Bulgarian economy.

The Great Depression in 1929 brought the Bucklov brothers' company to bankruptcy and they ceased operations. Subsequently, the building housed a department store of the then Horemag company (Hotels, restaurants, shops), and later the famous store "1001 goods", with which the building is known to this day. Currently the property is private, but is rented out for commercial and office needs.
