The Bank of the Simeonov Brothers is a building of lasting architectural value.

The brothers of entrepreneurs choose the young undergraduate architect Nigohos Bedrosyan as the designer of the building, whose talent and indisputable qualities bring him recognition and he receives a certificate of competency from the City Municipal Council.

Architects Ivan Hayes and P. Gavalas are also involved in the construction. In 1895 the building was completed and very well formed the corner space between the two streets.

There are shops on the ground floor and offices on the first and second floors. The building has natural lighting from a glass roof. The internal stairs are twisted with an exquisite iron railing, in which are woven floral ornaments and a fantastic dragon with a lion's head and wings. All three facades are symmetrical and richly decorated with sculptures, mascarons, medallions and monograms made by Gavalas and Liritis.

The owners of the building, Ivanitsa and Stefan Simeonovi, turned the family business into a bank thanks to their entrepreneurship and solid political and social contacts. The bank assumes a large part of the payments on Bulgarian foreign loans. Stefan Simeonov's successful business projects make him one of the richest and most influential people in Bulgaria. Foreign interests lead the bank to bankruptcy. For some time the building housed the Bulgarian Commercial Bank and the Court of Appeal. In 1928 the building was bought by the Ruse Popular Bank. The current owner of the building is DSK Bank.
