In 1897, a four-storey building on the thriving Alexandrovska Street was designed by order of Andre Turio.
Its architect is the Italian Nino Rozti, who uses all his imagination and richly decorates the baroque building with columns, pilasters and busts. After its completion, the building houses the Boulevard Hotel, and on the ground floor a jewelry store of the Armenian Tevo Papazyan.
Andre Turio is a wealthy industrialist of French descent who arrived in Ruse in 1966. He is a partner in the steam mill of the Papa Manoli brothers, a shareholder in the Postoyanstvo JSC and the Prince Boris Gunpowder Joint Stock Company.
After his death, the building was sold to Bratan Yotov Revenski - a famous confectioner from the town of Teteven. He created a confectionery on the ground floor and a hotel in the adjacent parts, named after his hometown - Teteven.
It is under this name that the building is remembered to this day. Confectionery "Teteven" offered only pastries of its own production and was a favorite meeting place for generations of Ruse. The hotel was one of the most representative phenomena in the city, with first-class furniture, central heating, hot water and telephone.
Bratan Ravenski is one of the founders of the Union of Hoteliers in Bulgaria. Founder of a confectionery school and is remembered for his philanthropic work.
Currently, the building has offices and offices, and on the ground floor a cosmetics store.
